ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT

In undertaking the provision of construction and maintenance services related to electrical distribution works for its clients , Poles & Underground Pty Ltd strives for environmental excellence in all our activities.

As part of our commitment to the environment we will:

•  Implement and maintain an Environmental Management System to ISO 14001:2004.

•  Comply with all relevant Legislative and other requirements

•  Continuously improve our Environmental Management System through periodical reviews.

•  Develop environmental objectives on an annual basis and review our performance against these objectives to ensure that we improve our environmental performance and reduce pollution

•  Communicate our Environmental Policy to all employees, contractors and the public

•  Reclaim used materials where appropriate and reuse/recycle them where possible.

•  Seek to develop energy and resource saving work methods.

•  Seek to develop work methods which reduce the risk of environmental damage.

•  Maintain knowledge of eco-related legislation and regulations and comply with then at all times.

•  Strive to be a leader in Environmental Management for our industry.
